If you know a welder, or you are one, you already get it. The arc goes down, the helmet comes off, and the only thing left to do is find a hot drink and decompress. This mug is for that exact moment.
The illustration shows a beat-up welding helmet resting on its side on a dark, heavily scratched metal workbench, with a glowing weld bead still cooling along the surface beneath it. A bare pendant lamp hangs above in the corner. The right side of the mug reads "ARC DOWN, DAY DONE" in big distressed block letters. It's got a gritty poster-art feel — orange, amber, and dark brown on black — the kind of image that looks like it belongs on a workshop wall.
It comes in 11oz and 15oz, so you can pick whichever size gets you through a morning. Both are dishwasher and microwave safe.
It's the kind of thing a welder picks up, reads, and just nods at. No explanation needed.
