If you spend any time with binoculars around marshes and wet meadows, you know how it feels to spot a snipe before it spots you — that held-breath stillness, the bird completely absorbed in what it's doing. This mug is for that kind of birdwatcher. The one who gets it.
The artwork is a watercolour illustration in the style of a vintage field guide, all muted greens and golden browns and grey-green sky. A common snipe stands in profile, bill angled down into the shallows, reeds rising behind it. The text "PROBE THE SILENCE" sits in the upper left, and honestly it couldn't be more apt. The whole thing has a quiet, unhurried quality that's pretty rare on a piece of drinkware.
It comes in 11oz and 15oz — same image on both, just scaled to the size. Both are dishwasher and microwave safe, so you can actually use it every day without worrying about it.
It's the sort of thing you buy for yourself and then find yourself reaching for every morning without quite thinking about it.
